[Belle is going to have a delivery today! The most immediately noticable thing is that there's a bouquet of flowers in a porcelain vase with a card hidden in the blooms. All of them are in season and beautifully arranged. Taking center stage are purple and orange dahlias to symbolize her inner strength despite her hardships. Supporting the dahlias are marigolds that celebrate her warm personality, and peonies with their stems twisted around the purple irises to symbolize hope for her continued good fortune. Hidden among them is a lone, yellow zinnia that acknowledges the absence of Belle's missing brother. How the giver knows that Wise isn't far from Belle's thoughts.

As for the card, something will slip out of it if she's not careful. Well, four somethings: VIP tickets to a concert for her favorite singer next month. The card itself reads as follows in neat handwriting:]

Happy birthday, Belle!

Time really flies, doesn't it? I still remember the day that I asked you for help from a university's computer lab. I was really lucky that day, and I'm grateful that we've continued being friends since then. You saved my life back then. There's no real way for me to repay that, and I think that you would refuse being owed anything, too. So, instead, I just want to say this:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I hope your birthday is full of joyous memories! Oh, and if you'd like to have the flowers pressed/preserved, let me know! I picked up the skill as part of my scrapbooking hobby.

you don't owe me anything, and you don't have to make up for it. Just being able to know you were alive all these years was enough for me.

Thank you for the flowers. I'm gonna bully my brothers into concert tickets. Well, two of them, Zelos doesn't like loud noises so I'll see if anyone we know feels like a fun weekend.

Haha! Don't worry, I'm only kidding about owing you~ Honestly, I remember you talking years ago about how you missed out on a concert because they sold out so fast. I've been saving up since then.

That's a pity about Zelos. I'll keep that in mind. Anyway, whoever you invite, as long as you're happy with them and can fully enjoy the concert, that's all that really matters. Spend time with them, make some memories, and enjoy the moment!

[Even if Harumasa might hope for an invitation, he'll never say so. It's her choice, her life, and he's happy as long as she's happy. At the end of the day, Belle will always be his best friend no matter what.]
